Map Changes
the map was looking a bit empty before so i tried to fill some space, i added some small stones around the map, grass and different textures, background scenery like a broken bridge and some extra crates. I still have some other models to add which may add a bit more depth like toys which im currently in the process of trying to animate.
the map is coming along well but there is still a good amount of work to be done, i need to finish off textures edit different textures to make it look to repetitive. Im also not to sure about the broken bridge for now its a good gap filler but i will probably replace it with something new soon.
I am still working on updating my statue so that will also come later along with other updates some of which were mentioned earlier.
Statue Update
I made a few changes to my model, it was looking quite flat and not very Romanesque, i added more definition to the stomach mainly then i also tried to scare the legs and arms to match, i still have a little bit of work to do on the back but its getting there.
I am very happy with this change, it left the model a little bit messy but nothing hard to fix.

Battle Arena Update
The battle arena is coming a long nicely, I have made a good few changes which feel helps it out a lot. before the map seemed very dead and really still so decided to add some partial affects, used 3 different affects that worked quite well I gave the apartments chimney smoke, leaves that blow down from the trees and fog that drifts across the map and finally to make it match the setting gave the map a winter sky box to complete the aesthetic.
Other changes to note:
The floor looked horrible before and I knew i was going to need to change it so i moved to a more realistic looking cobble slab texture, it looks a lot better at fits the scene quite nicely.
The map was quite empty before so i added Bushes and trees around the outside of the map to give it more depth aswell as creating a bench model to help fill out some of the empty space.
I am very happy with how it is turning out, i still need to make some changed and finish up some textures, the statue needs to be repositioned and better in general but that is on the way.

Battle arena 2 (Statue Map)
I have made good progress on my arena, it is based on the Vatican, for this map i have produced several models including The Vatican, Italian Styled apartments Walls and the misc items like crates. my statue will be placed in the middle as seen in the picture.
I used a cobblestone to give it a much more realistic look as it fits the scene very well, however work would still need to be added to make it look seamless as you can clearly see when it has been copied to fix this ill have to find a similar texture to blend it in I also need to scale the texture to make it look more realistic. The statue as well has come alone nicely, however the animation for it will still need to be added. Another task is creating objects to fill in the empty space, but this will not take up much time and will be relatively easy.
This isn't the only thing i have been working on, I have a castle in progress which is coming along nicely however i'm not sure if it will fit the scene, as well as a another project planned which will be the Alexandria lighthouse. I have decided to do the lighthouse, as it not only looks really nice, . The lighthouse will also fit the time frame of the Vatican and add to the overall affect of my projects.
The Castle is only really in the beginning stage, the real reason why i wanted to make this was so i would have a new object that would let me test out some different texturing software i have been looking at called Substance Painter 2. there are two reasons why i want to do this, one the software looks amazing and very useful offering really good tools and to widen my skill knowlage of useful software tools.

Wooden Hut and Unity
I decided to make a wooden hut because I can imagine using at in different scenes.
I started out by creating a simple log for the side walls, it was simple enough to texture but it came out a bit flat i still need to edit them a little.
I then went onto making the front and back of the house, once again a very simple shape, it was very fast to make.
This is what it looks like textured, i used two textures for this an simple plank texture and a moss texture to try and make it a little less boring.
I simple used two rectangles to create the roof, the model turned out to be very minimalistic and quite flat, i feel like the hut would be a very good opportunity to use different software to create more detailed texture to give it a more detailed feel.
Finally to finish the model I made a porch, to do this I simply made a plank textured and duped it and put it in front of the door.
I then went ahead and made a small and quick map to test how it looked in unity. it looks quite nice, but i cant get past how flat it looks to change my model i would either try and editing the textures on different software or create it with individual planks so it has more depth,
Loyalty Card
Just something small I made for a hotel in London
Turned out quite nice, the Connaught is one of the most prestigious hotels in London.

Small Unity Project
It has been a while since I used unity properly so i decided to remind myself and I thought it would be a good way to test out my new assets. Its a very simple map just showing some of the models I have made.
Outside wall
I have started to try and make generic assets that be reused in different unity scenes, today i decided to make walls. I made 3 different types but after testing my first wall in unity i didn't find much need to continue texturing the other wall parts because my first wall already matched my needs.
This is my UV map, i used textures from a 3d texture site, i just wanted them to be a generic outside wall. I tried adding a white layer to match the colour of the wall better but in the end it looked better without.
This is the final outcome i am happy with the outcome, it didn't take to long and it turned out to be quite effective for its purpose.
This is how it looks in unity.

Lambo Side Project
I decided to make it my personal mission to create essential assets for maps like cars, building etc. I started my making a lambo, i started off by making the hood of the car and it looked good to start with.
This model has proven to be quite challenging due to terrible reference images because this particular car only has 3 in excistance.
I then moved onto the grill and wheel arch, the grill came out quite messy but im happy with the rest of it. i feel once i tidy up the grill and add more detail it will look better.
Here is where i have got up to, I am happy with the progress and I feel like I have got the hardiest part out of the way, hoping for smooth sailing from here on out.
Statue Hand
Creating the hand was very tedious and quite time consuming but it was finished soon enough.
I found it very hard to try and make the fingers merg into the palm of the hand to look natural and im still not fully satisfied with the outcome.
The hand still looks really chunky from underneath and it generally needs a clean up.
The hand isn't quite finished yet I'm happy with outcome to some extent considering that there is more work to be done on it.
