Wooden Hut and Unity

I decided to make a wooden hut because I can imagine using at in different scenes.
I started out by creating a simple log for the side walls, it was simple enough to texture but it came out a bit flat i still need to edit them a little.
I then went onto making the front and back of the house, once again a very simple shape, it was very fast to make.
This is what it looks like textured, i used two textures for this an simple plank texture and a moss texture to try and make it a little less boring.
I simple used two rectangles to create the roof, the model turned out to be very minimalistic and quite flat, i feel like the hut would be a very good opportunity to use different software to create more detailed texture to give it a more detailed feel.

Finally to finish the model I made a porch, to do this I simply made a plank textured and duped it and put it in front of the door.

I then went ahead and made a small and quick map to test how it looked in unity. it looks quite nice, but i cant get past how flat it looks to change my model i would either try and editing the textures on different software or create it with individual planks so it has more depth,

Loyalty Card

Just something small I made for a hotel in London
Turned out quite nice, the Connaught is one of the most prestigious hotels in London.

Small Unity Project

It has been a while since I used unity properly so i decided to remind myself and I thought it would be a good way to test out my new assets. Its a very simple map just showing some of the models I have made.

Outside wall

I have started to try and make generic assets that be reused in different unity scenes, today i decided to make walls. I made 3 different types but after testing my first wall in unity i didn't find much need to continue texturing the other wall parts because my first wall already matched my needs.
This is my UV map, i used textures from a 3d texture site, i just wanted them to be a generic outside wall. I tried adding a white layer to match the colour of the wall better but in the end it looked better without.
This is the final outcome i am happy with the outcome, it didn't take to long and it turned out to be quite effective for its purpose.
This is how it looks in unity.
